Making the complex simple –
Kathleen Kelly is a management consultant, college instructor, seminar facilitator, and certified Birkman Method coach. She works with organizations to improve the performance of teams, staff management and leadership skills. Her framework is a powerful accountability model combined with simple, highly effective tools. Kathy has a down to earth style and enjoys “making the complex simple.” As a coach she is insightful and always straightforward in her feedback and recommendations.
Kathy is master certified in “The Accountability Experience” and has been a facilitator in accountability education sessions for 10 years. With 20 years experience in operations management in a variety of industries, including health care and local government, Kathy excels in working with managers to help create high performance teams.
Kathy was also an instructor at the University of Utah. She taught the “Cultural Competence and Mutual Respect” curriculum, a requirement for all students in the Health Sciences Department. It replaced traditional diversity training. She has also served as a lead faculty member of the College of Business at the University of Phoenix.
Beyond the classroom
Preferring the outdoors to the indoors, Kathy is a facilitator for outdoor experiential team building adventures, holds a Utah White Water River Guide permit and has rowed for Splore, an organization that takes disabled people on outdoor adventures.
Kathy has an M.B.A. from the University of Utah and a B.S. in Rehabilitation Services from the University of Connecticut.
